November General Election, Labor Day Weekend, and Fall Campaign Plans

← All Newsletters August 2026

I am honored to run as one of our Democratic candidates for the Addison-3 House of Representatives seat. Thank you for your vote, for your support, and for your commitment to this community. We have a lot to do for the November election so let's go!

I look forward to working with Ariel Bolles, the second Democratic nominee for House Representative, as well as Ruth Hardy and Hannah Sessions, who are running for the State Senate seats that include our Addison-3 District.

Voter Registration Portal

The Trump administration is stirring up uncertainty by trying to interfere in the mail delivery of ballots. People are asking what they might do. The best thing to do right now is to check your voter registration information in the Vermont Voter Portal.

School Year Begins

For so many in our community, late August marks the start of the school year for children. For nine years as a member of our School Board, this time meant restarting conversations about academic learning, afterschool activities, and our yearly budgeting goals. As the Chair, I made sure that our early agendas focused on how students received the resources and support needed to achieve their potential. It's this work that I intend to carry on as your Representative in Montpelier. I wish all families, students, teachers, administrators and board members a wonderful school year.

Labor Day

Labor Day is upon us. I am a firm believer in the right to collectively bargain. In November, Vermonters will vote on Proposal 3 (see Ballotpedia's full overview of Vermont Proposal 3, including the constitutional text and legislative history). Enshrining the right to organize and bargain collectively in Vermont's Constitution sends an unambiguous message that Vermont stands with its workers.

Over the next nine weeks, I will be out in the community knocking on doors, making phone calls, putting out signs, and listening to community members. Please join us in this final stretch to the November General Election.
